There are no clear beginnings and endings in the interconnectedness & cycles of all life. Likewise the preparation of Good food does not start and end in the kitchen, but is an undertaking of care and introspection:
Developing connections and giving careful consideration to the clients style and uniqueness; building relationships with suppliers who share similar values; being conscientious about produce and the life it had; ruminating the transference of well – being through food prepared with good intention; taking time to shop and seek out quality and freshness: visualising how the meal will be presented and styled and what dinnerware and crockery will best exhibit the dish; getting ahead with all the chopping & weighing ingredients before the cooking begins In the kitchen.
And then, with single-minded focus “Flow” in the kitchen, embracing ebullience and know – how with the right quanta of clinical execution and creative flair, to configure each ingredient together harmoniously into a beautiful meal that exudes the joy of living, and conveys that the whole can be more than the sum of its parts.
And then doing it again , and again……..
Trust is earned when actions meet words.
